AFL Wins Quality Excellence Award, Visteon

Detroit, Michigan, March 29, 2004 - Alcoa announced today that its AFL Automotive business was recognized by Visteon Corporation's Saline (Mich.) assembly plant with a Quality Excellence Award recently.

AFL Automotive was one of only two global wire harness suppliers to receive Saline's quality excellence award for its work on the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator programs.
 
"These awards are the result of teaming with our customer and our mutual commitment to excellence from the design of the product to final shipment," said Daniel Alexander, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Alcoa AFL Automotive.
 
AFL Automotive provided Saline with wire harnesses for the instrument panels of several Ford Motor vehicles, including the Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, Lincoln Town Car, and Mercury Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis.
